Q: State Resident director and Nominee Director under Companies Act, 2013 ?

Ans: Resident Director is defined under section 149(3) of companies act, 2013,  a person must be the resident in India for atleast 182 days in previous calender year to become resident director. 


Nominee director is nominated by financial institution and is Non-executive and non-independent director. It is mentioned under section 149(7) of companies act, 2013.
